The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) will play a crucial role in preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and positions equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, providing appropriate patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment to prevent infection.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff and radiology students.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements include completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility, and/or current RCIS certification.
