Job Overview:
Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the community, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team, providing expert patient care and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for care
- Maintain a sterile environment and serve as a mentor for new hires and radiology students
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and utilize downtime effectively
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
