Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team of professionals who share our commitment to excellence and quality care.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment in the cath lab.
- This role requires strong collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control guidelines.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
