About the Position
This Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist position is a critical component of our cardiovascular program. You will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, maintaining a sterile environment, and acting as a preceptor for new hires. To succeed in this role, you should possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities and Expectations
As a member of our team, you will be expected to:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participate in the orientation of new staff members
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
