Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation and setup of equipment before and during procedures.
• Patient assessment and preparation for procedures.
• Implementation and maintenance of a sterile environment.
• Professional Practice and mentorship of new staff members.
• Effective utilization of downtime for tasks such as room stocking and equipment checks.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
• Achievement of competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
• Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or current RCIS certification.
• Basic Life Support training required prior to patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support maintenance through re-training.
• ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
