Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation and setup of equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient assessment and preparation for procedures.
- Implementation and maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice and mentorship of new staff members.
- Effective utilization of downtime for tasks such as room stocking and equipment checks.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Achievement of competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or current RCIS certification.
- Basic Life Support training required prior to patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support maintenance through re-training.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
