Responsibilities
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures
- Patient assessment and preparation
- Maintenance of a sterile environment
- Professional Practice: Precepting new hires and radiology students, participating in staff orientation, and utilizing downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks
- Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate exceptional patient care
Qualifications
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, and/or current Cardiovascular Interventional Special Procedures (CI-S) certification
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
