Job Description
As a Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Precept new hires and radiology students, assist in their orientation.
- Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.
Requirements
- Accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular Program graduate.
- Clinical experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
- Current registration with ARRT or RCIS.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required within 6 months.
