The Norman Regional Health System is committed to providing high-quality patient care and seeking a skilled Imaging Technology Professional to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, this individual will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment during cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and safety.
This role includes establishing a sterile environment, mentoring new staff, and collaborating with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists. Candidates should possess appropriate certifications and experience in radiologic technology and cardiovascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and maintaining equipment during cardiovascular procedures
- Ensuring patient care and safety
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Mentoring new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintaining strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in an Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
