Job Summary
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
Professional Practice:
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by completing tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
Responsibilities also include maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. Additionally, employees must complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months and attain Cardiovascular (CV) certification preferred within the same timeframe.
