The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our team of medical professionals. As a CV Rad Technologist - RCIS, you will play a critical role in preparing equipment for cardiovascular procedures and providing patient care while maintaining a sterile environment.
This position requires collaboration with cardiologists and serving as a mentor for new staff, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will have formal education in Radiologic Technology and certification, with a focus on ongoing training and professional development in a supportive hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications.
