Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiographic Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team of experienced technologists. This role involves preparing equipment, identifying patient conditions, positioning patients, and establishing a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a focus on patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient conditions
- Prepare and position patients
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months, complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months, hold a valid certification in Radiologic Technology, and possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience working in a Cath Lab, and registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) are also preferred.
