As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a vital role in this endeavor, collaborating with cardiologists, training new staff, and maintaining high professional standards and certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential risks and developing effective care plans.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the orientation and training of new staff, fostering a culture of mentorship and growth.
- Utilize downtime efficiently, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
