About Norman Regional Health System
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our cardiovascular program.
We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, providing exceptional patient care in a cutting-edge cardiovascular program. Our team collaborates to ensure a sterile environment and maintain equipment during procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred, Registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS, Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
