About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and providing care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and support a strong professional relationship with physicians to ensure excellent patient care.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff. Qualifications include a graduate degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience working in a Cath Lab, and registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS. Basic Life Support certification is required, with Advanced Life Support to be achieved within six months of hire.
