Job Overview
This position requires a skilled Radiologic Technologist to work in our Catheterization Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a procedural area and possess strong communication skills to interact with cardiologists and other medical staff.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Assess patient condition and provide necessary care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety within the department.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
