Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a crucial role in the cardiovascular program, ensuring high-quality patient care by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position collaborates closely with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a modern facility equipped with advanced technology.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately, stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
