Job Title: Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and establishing a sterile environment. Additionally, you will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Key responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, preparing patients for procedures, and establishing a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. In addition, you will use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing other delegated tasks by the Charge person or manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have completed a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology. They should also possess current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS). Previous procedural area experience is preferred, and basic life support training is required prior to providing patient care. Advanced life support certification must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.

This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $27.84 to $45.46, depending on previous work experience.
