Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower will soon feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms, further enhancing our ability to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
This Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students. Additionally, this individual will participate in the orientation of new staff, use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks, and maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates for this position must have a graduate degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience working in a Cath Lab, registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT, or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Life Support within six months of hire. Certification in Radiologic Technology and completion of ongoing training for patient safety and care standards are also required.
