Norman Regional Health System invites applications for a highly skilled and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to join its cardiovascular team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a recognized cardiovascular program.
Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. You will also assess patient conditions, maintain a sterile environment, and serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students. Strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: Completion of a formal program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Etc: American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training required prior to providing patient care, with re-training necessary to maintain certification throughout employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.

- Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, preparing and positioning them for procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, adhering to departmental policies and regulations.
