Job Requirements
The Catheterization Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and providing patient care in a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of radiologic technology and experience in the Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and maintenance of equipment.
- Patient assessment and preparation for procedures.
- Maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Training and mentoring of new staff members.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
