The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in our Cardiovascular Program, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with a focus on preparing and operating equipment during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with physicians and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for optimal care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire.
