Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Summary
This role is responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care in our cutting-edge cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System. The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist must assess patient conditions, maintain sterile environments, and precept new staff while collaborating with cardiology professionals.
This position requires the completion of a formal Radiologic or Cardiovascular Program, as well as certification and ongoing training in BLS and ACLS. We are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our cardiovascular program and contribute to delivering outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Assesses patient condition and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilizes downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by the Charge person or manager.
