**Responsibilities**
As a Registered Radiologic Technologist in our Cath Lab, your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing equipment before and during procedures
2. Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
3. Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
4. Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participating in the orientation of new staff
5. Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A graduate degree in Radiography or a related field
2. One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
3. Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or registration with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current BLS certification required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
7. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and medical terminology
8. Ability to lift, move, and transport patients, as needed
9. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks without fatigue
