Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring and knowledgeable registered technologists to expand our program.
Our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Job Summary
This position involves assessing patient conditions, maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a mentor to new staff. Candidates must be registered as a Radiologic Technologist and hold relevant certifications, with a focus on teamwork to support a highly accredited cardiology department.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
* Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
* Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
* Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications and Education
* Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
* Previous procedural area experience preferred.
* Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, with current BLS certification maintained throughout employment.
Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
