Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership
Qualifications include completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, and current Basic Life Support training. ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
