We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring, knowledgeable registered technologists to expand our team. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Education:
A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of radiologic technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technology eligible and/or current RCIS is required.
Experience:
Previous procedural area experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
Education:
A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of radiologic technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technology eligible and/or current RCIS is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Candidates must possess:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- Registered and/or RCIS
- Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
