Job Summary
This Registered Technologist position plays a crucial role in the cardiovascular program, preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient conditions and assisting during procedures while maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
