What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide patient care in a sterile environment
- Assist during procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Participate in the orientation of new staff
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
