We are seeking a skilled Vascular Interventional Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System.
The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program and hold relevant certifications such as ARRT or RCIS. They will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, maintaining sterile environments, and serving as a preceptor for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
