Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Specialist to play a crucial role in preparing and assisting during cardiovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
As a Catheterization Laboratory Specialist, you will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in their orientation and training, and maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications include completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility, and/or current RCIS registration. Previous procedural area experience is preferred. Candidates must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS within six months of hire.
