The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and providing care in a sterile environment prior to and during cardiovascular procedures.
This role includes mentoring new staff and maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians to ensure optimal patient care. The candidate must hold relevant certifications and complete necessary orientations and competencies within a specified timeframe.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepping equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition
- Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
