Additionally, you will maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment.
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
