Job Description:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient condition, and providing patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
- Assess patient condition and prepare, position, and provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required prior to providing patient care.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
