Norman Regional Health System seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join its team. As a key member of the cardiovascular program, this individual will be responsible for preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS, along with Basic and Advanced Life Support training, is required. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of cardiologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures.
- Identification and assessment of patient condition.
- Preparation, positioning, and provision of patient care.
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Training of new staff and participation in the orientation of new employees.
Requirements
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is required. One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred. Certification as a Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) is essential. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training are also required.
