Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join our cardiovascular team at Norman Regional Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. Additionally, you will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, ensuring optimal patient care through collaboration with our team of physicians.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications include completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, and certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI). Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting and graduation from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
