Job Summary
The selected candidate will work closely with cardiologists and other medical professionals to prepare patients for procedures, establish a sterile environment, and maintain equipment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate equipment effectively, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the procedure.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
