Job Description
This Cath Lab Technologist position requires a highly skilled professional who can prepare equipment, assess patient conditions, and maintain a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or hold Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Assesses patient conditions and prepares patients for care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
