Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Prioritize patient care, using decision-making skills to make rational and quick decisions regarding patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient health outcomes, maintaining open communication and ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Stay current on new findings and research in the field, applying evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license.
- A minimum of six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility, preferred.
- Able to use decision-making skills to prioritize patient care, recognizing unsafe work conditions and/or practices.
