Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments to identify patient needs.
- Develop and implement effective nutrition education programs for patients and staff.
- Prioritize patient care based on medical necessity.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Registration as a Dietitian or RD/RDN with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Experience working in an acute care setting preferred.
- Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas, including nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, oncology.
- Ability to obtain continuing education credits and stay current with new research findings.
