About the Position
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System plays a critical role in preparing and maintaining equipment for cardiovascular procedures, while providing exceptional patient care in a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff and participate in the orientation of new employees.
• Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
• Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
• Identify and assess patient conditions, preparing and positioning patients for procedures.
• Complete essential certifications to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program.
• Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS.
• Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
• Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
