CV Rad Technologist Job Description
The CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing and providing patient care during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cardiologists and electrophysiologists. Responsibilities:
The CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing and providing patient care during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cardiologists and electrophysiologists. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice:
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
