Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Summary
This position involves preparing equipment for cardiovascular procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and positioning equipment before and during procedures
- IDentifying and assessing patient conditions
- Maintaining a sterile environment throughout procedures
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participating in the orientation of new staff
- Utilizing downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Formal training in Radiologic Technology
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) - RCIS
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
- BLS training and re-training required
Salary and Benefits
