Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in our cardiovascular program, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
* Prepare equipment before and during procedures
* Identify and assess patient condition
* Prepare, position, and provide patient care
* Establish and maintain a sterile environment
* Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Requirements
* Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification
* Previous procedural area experience preferred
* Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
