CV Rad Technologist Role Summary
As a CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, you will be an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and procedural success. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the delivery of comprehensive cardiovascular services.
Essential Responsibilities
* Equipment preparation and maintenance for cardiovascular procedures
* Patient assessment and positioning, provision of patient care
* Maintenance of sterile environment
* Training and mentoring of new staff, participation in their orientation
* Development of positive relationships with physicians and leadership to improve patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
* Completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with ARRT eligibility and/or current RCIS
* Prior Procedural Area experience desirable
* Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology and/or RCIS
* Certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training during orientation, Current BLS throughout employment
* ACLS training within 6 months of hire, maintained throughout employment
