Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is a critical member of our cardiovascular team, responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assessing and providing patient care, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role also involves mentoring new hires and collaborating with a team of cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
We are seeking a Registered Technologist to join our team, preferably with previous procedural experience. The successful candidate will have completed a formal program in Radiologic Technology and possess relevant certifications.

The compensation for this position ranges from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
