Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Prepares and operates equipment during cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborates with a team of cardiologists to ensure patient safety and care.
- Participates in accreditation standards and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Must have a background in Radiologic Technology or a related field, along with relevant certifications and clinical experience.
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program required. One year of experience working in a cath lab preferred. Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS required.
