CV Rad Technologist Qualifications
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Achieve all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Hold a completion certificate from a formal 24-month program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility or current RCIS status.
- Prior procedural area experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Hold American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, with Registered and/or RCIS status.
- Possess Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification, preferably.
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training throughout employment.
- Achieve Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
