About the Role
The CV Radiologic Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is a key member of our interventional cardiology team. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to prepare equipment, assess patient conditions, and provide high-quality patient care in a sterile environment.
This role involves collaboration with cardiologists and leadership to ensure excellence in cardiovascular procedures. As a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, you will play a vital role in orienting new staff and facilitating their onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure
Requirements
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS certification, and Basic Life Support training required
