Job Position
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will work closely with our team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide high-quality patient care and assist with procedures in a sterile environment. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Equipment preparation and setup for procedures.
- Patient assessment and management to ensure optimal care.
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Precepting and mentoring new staff members and radiology students.
- Efficient use of downtime for essential tasks.
- Cultivation of strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership for improved patient outcomes.
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular Program.
Registration with the ARRT or RCIS credentials.
Basic Life Support certification, with Advanced Life Support achieved within 6 months of hire.
