Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare and operate equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient Care: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
